Hello.　How is everything going? How are you getting along with your English studies? Indeed, you need to put in a lot of effort and time to gain proficiency in English. Keep working at your English, and you will steadily reach your goal, which is improving your English and putting it into practical use.

It is really difficult to master English for average Japanese people living only in Japan with few opportunities to use it. English is a language syntactically and semantically far away from Japanese. As you keep studying English, you will further realize how different it is. Some people easily give up learning it since they may find it difficult to study. For them it is too tough and time-consuming to tackle.

Actually, it is difficult. That is why there are a lot of resources available, such as practical guides, reference books, exercise books and drills to study English with. Even though students study English at school, most of them do not seem to acquire skills to communicate in English. Therefore, we need to find ways to learn English more effectively to be able to use it.

In order to use English, of course, learners need to practice using it. It is simple. Learners need to aggressively seek opportunities to practice using English when they do not have any in their daily lives.

You can speak English to yourself and you can write English based on what you have read and what you have heard. You should tap into other learners for speaking and writing practice so that you can learn from each other. You should speak English and text messages in your own words in English to each other.
