LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL Oct. 14th 2025

Hello, how is everything going? These days we feel quite comfortable because the weather is nice and cool in the mornings and evenings. Unfortunately, it is still not quite the same during the daytime, but you can definitely feel that summer is giving way to autumn. Autumn is the season for reading and sports, so we should dive into some good books and get active with some exercise.

Every summer, I find myself annoyed by all sorts of pests: tiny flies, mites, and cockroaches in the house, and mosquitoes and oriental moths in the yard. I end up struggling to exterminate these troublesome creatures with pesticide in hand. After all, I guess we cannot wipe them out or turn them into endangered species as long as we are around. We tend to make a fuss about other living things when they are at risk of extinction, but honestly, I believe nobody would mind if these obnoxious pests were on the verge of disappearing. We would probably be quite happy about it!

It seems that summer is finally over, and now we have the nice, cool autumn we have been longing for. Autumn might be getting shorter each year, so let’s appreciate this pleasant season to the fullest.

年々短くなる秋を、しっかり英語の勉強をして、そしてたくさん英語に触れてより楽しく有意義に過ごしましょう。
