LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL　Aug. 13th 2025

Hello. How is your English study coming along? I wanted to let you know that Cindy, a former English teacher at Happy English School from Tasmania, Australia, came to Japan on July 24th and will be here until August 29th. I have asked her to teach several lessons during her stay, so I hope those of you who join her classes will enjoy yourselves, actively engage, and make the most of this opportunity!

I visited her in Tasmania with Shoko (my friend and a fellow teacher at Happy English School), and stayed with her at the end of last year. It was quite a long journey to fly there, and unfortunately, I ended up catching the flu and was sick in bed for almost the entire stay. Nevertheless, I had a chance to catch up with Cindy and really enjoyed staying in her huge house with a vast garden. I did not get to see any Tasmania devils, but I did spot wild kangaroos from her house and discovered some rare plant species that seem to be native to Australia. I was really fascinated by the local flora and fauna there.

Visiting different parts of the world will definitely broaden your perspective.

It is a wonderful way to enrich your views and gain new insight in your views.

Cindy（オーストラリア・タスマニア出身の元Happy English Schoolの先生）が7月24日から日本に滞在しています。8月29日には帰国予定ですが、その間Happy English Schoolでもいくつかのレッスンをしてもらっています。

私は昨年末にCindyのお家でホームステイさせてもらいました。あいにくインフルエンザにかかってしまい、滞在中のほとんどの時間をCindyの広大な庭付きの大きなお家で寝て過ごしましたが、暮らしぶり知ることができました。家から見える野生のカンガルーやお庭のオーストラリア特有の植物に興味をそそられました。

世界の各地には、あなたの計り知れないものがあります。実際に一歩外へ出て、様々なものを見聞きし体験することで、あなたの視野を広げてくれます。
