LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL Mar. 6th 2024

Hello, how is everything going? Do you realize how much progress you have made in English this school year? Have you increased your vocabulary? Have you acquired more grammar knowledge? Have you been able to listen to, speak, read and write English more accurately and more thoroughly? Happy English School helps you to attain proficiency in English. However little the progress seems to be to you, I believe that you have steadily learned English.

It is a matter of concentration, capacity, motivation, tenacity, opportunities and necessity to use English in determining how well you acquire the language. You can enhance or train all of these factors in order to have a good command of English. We are working hard to encourage and support students to concentrate, to better remember, to become more interested in English, and to make the most of what they have learned.

I believe that our students can communicate better in English than any other students at other schools because we devote ourselves to making the students express themselves in English. I am sure that every student at Happy English School has a positive attitude toward globalization, where using English is taken for granted as a common language.

いよいよ2023年度最後の月となりました。ほとんどの方が英語を日常で使う環境がないので、どのくらい英語が上達したかを実感することはあまりないかもしれません。しかし、Happy English Schoolに通ってくださっている以上、みなさんは、ご自身それぞれのレベルで英語でのコミュニケーションを取ることができると確信しています。逐次よく使う日本語の表現を英語で覚えてもらうようにし、いつも練習で言うようにしてもらっています。

ちょっとした表現がわからないとか出てこないというのは、その表現を知らなかったり、練習が十分でなかったりするからです。自分が何を知らないのか、必要な時にどんな言葉が出てこないのか、がわかると、自分自身で覚えて練習することができる良いチャンスにもなります。

英語の習得には、集中、能力、やる気、根気、英語を使う必要性や機会がものを言います。Happy English Schoolでは、生徒が集中力や能力を高め、やる気、根気を養い、英語を使う場面をできるだけ多く作ります。継続は力なり。とにかくHappy English Schoolを信じて、国際化の進む中good communicatorになるよう練習をしましょう
