LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL Mar. 14th, 2023

Hello, how are you doing？ This month is the last month of the school year.

I think you have definitely made progress in English in the school year in terms of vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing. I believe that we have been good coaches for you to improve your English. So far, we have had a fourth grader and a six grader at elementary school pass the grade 2 STEP test, and also six third graders at junior high school have passed the grade 2 test and they’ve got entitled to 80 percent on the C-level English test of the public high school entrance exams, which is a great advantage for them to get into prestigious high schools.

We have devoted ourselves to our students’ progress in English and we aim to make it possible for every student to express themselves in the language at their own level. We especially focus on building up students’ communicative competence and helping them attain accuracy eventually. Once students get into Happy English School, they are supposed to speak and respond in English. It is a matter of course that students contact us by phone or e-mail in English, too.

I also would like to congratulate these students for achieving these feats: Ms. J got 895 and Ms. N got 885 on the TOEIC test. They are both STEP grade 1 holders and are still working even harder to get over 900. Quality lessons and persistent effort are the father of success.

今年の学習年度も終わりの月を迎えました。今年度は小学生2名が英検2級を合格し、中3生も6名公立高校の英語の入試80パーセントがもらえる英検2級にパスしました。英語のコーチとしてやりがいを感じます。しかし、それぞれが自分のペースでコミュニケーションをはかれるように英語を学習練習してもらうのがHappy English Schoolの意図するところです。

いったん教室に入ったならば何でも英語で表現してもらいます。わからなければその時に表現を練習してもらいますので、それを身に着けてください。

生徒のJさんとNんは英検1級取得者ですが、TOEIC895点や885点と素晴らしい成績でなおかつ900越えを目指されています。奥田典子さんは通訳ガイドの資格も取られています。ご本人の継続的な努力＆良いコーチがいることのたまものです。
