LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL May 23rd, 2022

Hello. How are you? It is getting warmer, leaves are getting greener and flowers are beautifully blooming. It is one of the most fabulous seasons in the year. I believe that everybody has settled down in the new environment as it has been one month since the new term started in April. Now that the Golden Week holidays are over, I am sure that you can seriously study English, and learn and use a lot more English in this nice season.

As you know, there are tons of words and expressions to memorize to acquire English. There are so many things to learn in English that your memory may often betray you, you may get disappointed with your poor performance, and, what is worse, you may get discouraged from studying hard after all. You might think there is no point studying English hard when you think that you haven’t made any progress at all.

However, you can reap what you sow. Your effort will definitely pay off. After a seed is cast on the ground, you cannot see how much it grows because it is underground, but actually it is growing to bud and bloom as long as you watch it and take care of it. The same goes for English study. You may not know your progress because you cannot see it well, but it will bloom with your constant effort and lessons at Happy English School. It may come after a while and all of a sudden you realize that you have made progress and that the knowledge and practice you have accumulated have taken shape.

To put it another way, when you do not see your improvement in English, you may feel like you are in a long, long tunnel that you cannot easily get out of, trapped in it helplessly. Nevertheless, indeed, you are stepping forward towards the exit even in the dark as long as you keep going. You will see a dim light and gradually recognize the light of the open.

We will certainly encourage and support you to further improve your English.

Let’s work together and get a sense of achievement together.

新緑美しく、より英語の勉強に良い季節になってきました。

英語の学習は、植物が種から芽を出す過程や、長いトンネルを出口を求めて歩く過程に例えられるかもしれません。未だ結果が出せないときは、自分の成長や進歩が目に見えてわかりにくかったりします。しかし、植物ならしっかり手入れすると花を咲かせ、トンネルは前に進めば必ず出口に出ます。より成長したり前進したりするには、アドバイスを得、とにかく継続しあきらめないことです。
