LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL　　March 8th, 2022

Hello. How are you doing? What with Omicron and what with Russian invasion in Ukraine, we feel increasingly uneasy about the world situation. As globalization advances, the world is so intricately connected and countries are so dependent on one another that we easily incur harms brought about by other countries while enjoying the benefits from that.

Villains mustn’t conquer the world. However, there is no hero who can beat evils.

We only see what is going on feeling merely helpless. Nevertheless, we should find ways to protect our health, wealth and happiness. I strongly believe that democracy, which promotes equal opportunities, the rule of law, human rights and freedom, can only assure our well-being and we need to support fellows who believe democracy in humanitarian crisis.

It appears the shadows are looming over the world, but we know every cloud has a silver lining. We should hope peace in the world however slim the hope seems.
