LETTER FROM HAPPY ENGLISH SCHOOL　Sep.14th. 2017

Hello, how are you? Have you noticed the advent of autumn? Actually it is a lot cooler in the morning and in the evening than before and nice cool breezes come up once in a while these days.

Many of the grasshoppers eating flowers and making holes in the leaves and petals in my yard have turned brown to match the color of the season. The day when all of them will disappear is coming close, but they are still on the go, hopping from leaf to leaf. Some of them piggyback little ones, and among them I saw a green grasshopper on a bigger brown one traveling together, which is really adorable. I almost forget the fact that they are harmful bugs.

暑い暑い夏の残照が日中はあるものの、朝夕は秋の訪れを感じる涼しさです。

夏休みが終わり、 読書・勉強の時節が到来です。

１つ提案です。CD付の薄い英語の本を聞き、理解して、音読して自分の英語を録音して聞き、CDの英語に近づけるように自分の英語を訂正し、更に録音する。この練習を続けると発音やイントネーションがよくなります。薄いCD付の本は少し大きな本屋さんで簡単に手に入ります。自分の興味のある本を選んで、是非やってみてください。
